juxtapose
The relationship between foreground and background creates a third, covert meaning. This meaning is in the relationship between two seemingly unrelated events, objects, or images. They can be captured only by a specific angle or position of the viewer, and in some instances, synchronistic events birth the unexpected. The foreground and background either relate or fight for dominance.
